Short waiting times
Appointments are usually possible at short notice and without any bureaucratic hassle; the waiting time is usually no longer than two weeks. There is a short phone call beforehand so that I am informed about the goals and general content. This way I can also tell you in advance whether I am the right therapist for you, or if not, then perhaps recommend other addresses.
Flexibility of appointments
The frequency and duration of the sessions are freely selectable. You are not bound by any rules. You decide how many sessions you want and at what intervals. The appointments are arranged according to your needs and can take place at irregular intervals. After prior arrangement, you can also take one-and-a-half or double hours.
Privacy
I schedule my appointments so that I avoid meeting other clients. There is no waiting room, we start at the agreed time and you can easily attend subsequent appointments.
Confidentiality
As psychological problems and symptoms are seen as the result of a disturbed system rather than as a pathology/illness within the person, (hypno-) systemic therapy does not use the classic concept of disorder and therefore also does not use diagnoses. This means that you will not be recorded by your health insurance company as “mentally ill” or “pre-existing mental illness”. This in turn can have financial advantages if, for example, you take out life, occupational disability or private health insurance, as there are no risk surcharges due to psychotherapy.
Time savings
A lengthy application to the health insurance company for reimbursement of costs is not necessary in this context, so we can concentrate on your concerns from the first conversation!
Tax advantages
You can deduct the session costs from your taxes under "extraordinary expenses of a general nature" in accordance with Section 33 of the Income Tax Act.
Cancellations/rescheduling
Please cancel appointments that you cannot keep at least 48 hours before the appointment. If you do not cancel in time, the full cost will be charged if the appointment cannot be given to someone else at short notice.
